Software Sales Executive

Drive new business for a growing SaaS company
Are you a confident communicator with a flair for sales and a hunger to earn? A well-established and growing SaaS company is looking for a driven Business Development Executive to win new clients and grow existing accounts.

You'll be promoting a market-leading cloud-based software platform to businesses across the UK. With a generous commission structure on top of your basic salary, your earning potential is firmly in your own hands.

What you'll be doing

• Generating new business opportunities through targeted email marketing campaigns and outbound telephone calls


• Developing and strengthening relationships with an existing client base to drive retention and growth


• Representing the company at industry trade shows and events


• Booking and supporting product demonstrations for prospective clients


• Maintaining accurate records of leads, activity and pipeline progress


• Working closely with the wider team to identify and convert sales opportunities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a sales or business development role, ideally selling SaaS or software solutions


• A strong understanding of the SaaS sales cycle, from lead generation through to demo and close


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a persuasive, professional manner


• Confidence making outbound calls and engaging decision-makers


• A self-motivated, target-driven attitude and the resilience to thrive in a sales environment


• Strong organisational skills and comfort working with CRM and email marketing tools


• Willingness to travel occasionally to trade shows and industry events

• Basic salary up to £40,000, dependant upon experience, plus an attractive uncapped commission scheme
