Software Engineer – Rail Transport

We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer to join a dynamic team developing software solutions for the rail transport sector. You will contribute to the design and development of software and systems for the mobility of tomorrow, working closely with domain experts.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the development of software specifications and architectures based on the needs of rail experts.
Define and manage technical specifications and subsystem requirements.
Contribute to the improvement of development processes, methods, and tools.
Support the integration team and contribute to validation and implementation activities.
Actively participate in the development of innovative software for future transportation.
Profile / Requirements
--------------------------
Required Profile:
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and French.
Educational background: Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (software, electronics, industrial…).
Minimum 5 years of experience in C\+\+ and Linux.
Project management experience is a strong asset.
Behavioral competencies:
Strong communication and team interaction skills.
Problem\-solving and strategic thinking, balancing operational and management needs.
Highly organized, autonomous, and persistent, with the ability to ramp up quickly.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of the rail domain, particularly ERTMS Level 2 solutions.
Prior software development experience, preferably in railway signaling, automotive, aerospace, or avionics.
Experience with version control systems (ideally Git or GitLab).
Technical skills: reading graphs, SI units, kinematics.
