Software Engineer - K8s Operator

Your role at Dynatrace
--------------------------

• You will design and build Kubernetes Operators in Go that automate the full lifecycle of the Dynatrace platform \- covering installation, configuration, upgrades, and ongoing operations \- enabling a fully self\-service and hands\-off experience for users.


• You will own the end\-to\-end developer and operator experience , ensuring that running Dynatrace in Kubernetes environments is simple, reliable, and consistent across diverse customer setups.


• You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams across Dynatrace to integrate their components into a unified, automation\-first platform model, ensuring every part of the system can be deployed and operated without manual intervention.


• You will leverage AI\-assisted engineering and observability insights to enable more autonomous, adaptive, and self\-optimizing platform operations.


• You will continuously improve the reliability, observability, and resilience of the Operator , ensuring safe rollouts, automated recovery, and predictable behavior at scale.

• A background in Software Engineering or related technical studies.


• 2\+ years of experience in Golang , with a strong understanding of object\-oriented and functional programming principles.


• Good knowledge of Kubernetes, containers , and Kubernetes Operators.


• Passion for building high\-performance, scalable algorithms and working with modern technologies in the cloud\-native space.


• A hands\-on, collaborative approach to problem\-solving with a commitment to delivering high\-quality solutions as part of a team
