Software Engineer iOS - Freelance H/F

Context

As we expand our offerings as well as our teams to meet the growing demand and ambitions, we're on a quest to shape the loyalty technology of the future.

• Provide technical expertise and actively participate in the development of our iOS SDKs, including implementing technical requirements, engaging in architecture/design pattern discussions, and collaboratively solving technical challenges.


• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code, follow coding standards, and participate in code reviews to contribute to quality.


• Implement features with awareness of performance, scalability, and high availability across the global architecture.


• Contribute to the team's DevSecOps culture by maintaining CI/CD pipelines and shifting left on security.


• Identify potential risks and technical challenges early in the project lifecycle and proactively propose tradeoffs to meet business goals.


• Work effectively within the team, facilitate communication, and partner with senior engineers and stakeholders to define requirements and deliver timely solutions.

• Technical stack: Swift, SwiftUI, Combine, Swift Concurrency, XCTest, SwiftTesting, WireMock, SPM, SwiftLint, Swift Format


• Collaboration tools: Slack, Google Suite, Confluence, Jira

Working Conditions

• Location: Lille

Requirements

• 3\+ years of experience in software engineering with an excellent command of Swift and SwiftUI


• Proficient in designing and building modular native SDKs using Swift Package Manager, with strong experience in reactive programming (Combine) and modern asynchronous patterns (Swift Concurrency) and architecture knowledge (MVVM, VIP, VIPER)


• Experience working in a global environment and contributing to the availability and resilience of services, with understanding of the "you build it, you run it" mindset, observability, and incident management


• Skilled in automated testing, dependency management, and maintaining CI/CD workflows, with a sharp understanding of agile methodologies


• Effective at building relationships and contributing to goal\-oriented projects within a team environment


• Knowledge in Ktor and backend API development (strong plus)


• Knowledge in AI\-based frameworks (strong plus)


• Eagerness to learn and share knowledge


• Fluent in English and French
