About Us
------------

At Teton, we are redefining the role of healthcare workers through cutting\-edge AI technology. Facing a global nursing shortage, our solutions offer vital support to overburdened health systems. With thousands of patient rooms across 4 countries already benefiting from our technology, we are aiming to expand to much more. We distinguish ourselves by focusing relentlessly on product excellence and user experience, rapidly deploying solutions that make a real difference.

We require a physical presence in our office in Copenhagen, Denmark. We believe this enables the fastest and most efficient iteration cycles to build an impactful product that users love to use.

The Job
-----------

Every patient room we deploy into puts another device on infrastructure we don't control, in a building we can't easily visit, running software that has to keep working. We're looking for an Engineer to own that problem: the systems, tooling, and infrastructure that let us ship to thousands of edge devices confidently and understand what they're doing once they're out there.

In this role, you will focus on the following areas of interest:

  • Fleet Management: Build and run the systems that provision, monitor, and manage our devices in the field, from first boot in a hospital room to end of life.

  • + OTA \& Release Engineering: Own how software gets onto devices: staged rollouts, health checks, automatic rollback, and the confidence that a bad release won't take down a ward.

  • + Observability: Design the telemetry, logging, and alerting that tell us a device is degrading before a nurse notices. Make remote debugging possible so we don't fly to fix things.

  • + Device Bring\-Up \& Debugging: Work with our hardware and firmware teams on new hardware revisions, reproduce field issues on the bench, and get to the bottom of problems that span kernel, driver, network, and application.

  • + Infrastructure \& Tooling: Build the CI/CD, image builds, and internal tools that let the whole engineering team ship to hardware quickly and safely.

  • + Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of your work to ensure easy collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Solid experience running Linux systems in production: ideally embedded or edge Linux, not just cloud VMs.

  • + Proficiency in Rust and/or Javascript/Typescript and/or Python

  • + Experience with device fleets at scale: provisioning, OTA update mechanisms (Mender, RAUC, balena, or something you built yourself), and remote access to constrained devices.

  • + Familiarity with Linux internals: systemd, kernel modules, device tree, networking stack, containers.

  • + Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or similar) and designing what to measure, not just wiring up dashboards.

  • + Comfortable with hardware debugging: serial consoles, working alongside hardware engineers

  • + Understanding of communication protocols and how devices talk to each other and to us: I2C, SPI, UART, Bluetooth, Wi\-Fi, MQTT.

  • + Pragmatism about networks you don't control: restrictive hospital IT, VLANs, proxies, flaky Wi\-Fi, and long offline periods.

  • + Strong problem\-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • + Experience with the NVIDIA Jetson platform and Linux for Tegra is a big plus.

  • + Experience with Yocto, Debian packaging, or custom image builds is a plus.

  • + Experience in the medical device or healthcare technology field is a plus.

  • \#\# What We Offer

  • + Participation in our warrant program (stock options).

  • + Work with state\-of\-the\-art technology in a pioneering field.

  • + A vibrant, learning\-focused work environment.

  • + A role where you can make a significant impact on healthcare delivery.
