<h3><strong>The Mission</strong></h3>
<p>Ebury is a hyper-growth FinTech on a mission to revolutionize international trade. We are building the "Internal Engine" of our global delivery organization, and our Client Operations Automation squad is at the heart of this transformation.</p>
<p>We are moving beyond traditional automation into the era of Agentic Orchestration. You won't just be writing scripts; you will be architecting the high-performance distributed systems and AI workers that power real-time compliance, client lifecycle management (CLM), and intelligent RFI workflows.</p>
<h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3>
<p>In this role, you will ship meaningful product increments end-to-end. That includes backend services and integrations (Node.js/TypeScript, workflow orchestration) and user-facing experiences (React micro-frontends) that enable operations teams to work faster and more accurately.</p>
<p>You will work closely with your squad and cross-functional partners to clarify requirements, deliver iteratively, and raise engineering quality through tests, documentation, and pragmatic improvements.</p>
<p><strong>Your Impact </strong></p>

<li>Build and evolve product features that reduce manual intervention and improve operational handling times.</li>
<li>Deliver reliable backend services and integrations that automate operational workflows.</li>
<li>Contribute to workflow orchestration using Temporal, with a focus on correctness, idempotency, and operational safety.</li>
<li>Improve the user experience for operations teams by shipping React micro-frontend functionality.</li>
<li>Strengthen engineering practices through automated testing, observability, and collaborative code reviews.</li>

<li>You have solid professional experience as a software engineer and can deliver independently within a defined scope.</li>
<li>You write maintainable code, you test your work, and you care about long-term reliability.</li>
<li>You are comfortable discussing trade-offs, asking clarifying questions, and collaborating across functions.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Must Have</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>3+ years of professional software development experience.</li>
<li>Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.</li>
<li>Production experience building backend services with Node.js (Deno is a plus).</li>
<li>Experience shipping user-facing functionality with React (or a similar modern frontend framework).</li>
<li>Practical experience with cloud platforms — AWS (ECS, DynamoDB) and/or GCP.</li>
<li>Solid understanding of REST APIs and async programming.</li>
<li>Experience with databases (relational and/or NoSQL).</li>
<li>Good working knowledge of CI/CD and automated testing practices.</li>
<li>Strong English communication skills.</li>
<li>Curiosity about AI/LLM - you're excited to learn, even if you haven't worked with it before</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Nice to Have: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Experience with workflow orchestration platforms.</li>
<li>Salesforce integrations (Service Cloud) or CRM domain familiarity.</li>
<li>Previous work in fintech, compliance, or regulated industries</li>
<li>Spanish language skills (not required, but welcome!)</li>
</ul>
