About the Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Lead to lead quality assurance and test automation for a large international digital transformation programme based on the OutSystems platform.
You will define the testing strategy, establish automation standards and guide the QA team across multiple software releases.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and manage the QA and test automation strategy.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.
- Establish automation frameworks for functional, regression, smoke, integration and end\-to\-end testing.
- Ensure coverage across web and mobile OutSystems applications.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead defect management, root cause analysis and quality improvements.
- Monitor quality metrics, automation coverage and release readiness.
- Coach QA engineers and promote a quality\-first culture.
- Collaborate with international business and technical teams.
Mandatory Requirements
- At least eight years of experience in Software QA and Testing.
- At least four years leading QA or Test Automation teams.
- Strong hands\-on experience with Playwright.
- Proven experience testing OutSystems applications.
- Experience building scalable automation frameworks from scratch.
- Solid knowledge of API, integration and end\-to\-end testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins or equivalent.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe or Kanban.
- Strong English communication skills.
