Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C\#, Python, C\+\+, C, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless integration between systems.
- Collaborate with front\-end developers to create engaging user interfaces and ensure optimal user experience.
- Maintain version control using tools like SVN and GitHub, ensuring code quality and documentation standards are met.
- Write efficient SQL queries for database management with MySQL and SQL Server, supporting application data needs.
- Participate in code reviews, testing procedures, and debugging activities across Linux and Windows environments.
- Contribute to application deployment on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure while ensuring security best practices are followed.
- Proficiency in JavaScript for front\-end development and dynamic web interfaces.
- Strong knowledge of software development principles across multiple languages including Java, C\#, Python, C\+\+, Ruby on Rails, and VBA.
- Experience working with APIs (Application Programming Interfaces), REST protocols, and cloud services like AWS and Azure.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as SVN and GitHub for collaborative coding efforts.
- Solid understanding of database management using SQL (MySQL) and experience with database optimization techniques.
- Ability to develop applications on Linux platforms as well as Windows environments utilizing.NET framework.
- Knowledge of application development best practices including security protocols, testing methodologies, and deployment strategies.
Pay: From £40,000\.00 per year
