Software Developer
We are a dynamic and innovative company, located in London Docklands, providing predictive technology and AI solutions to the energy sector. Our market is global, and we specialise in energy data management and demand forecasting for power and utility multinationals in electricity, gas and renewable generation markets.
We have an immediate vacancy for an experienced software developer to join our systems team. You will be involved in improving our current Web UI and developing new features in close collaboration with our backend developers. We will provide you with induction training on the project framework and sector knowledge. We offer hybrid working, but you must have the capacity and equipment to work remotely. Key responsibilities:
- Iterate on existing features and mechanics within our web application
- Work with senior developers to seamlessly integrate backend functionality into the application frontend
- Attend regular meetings with the product owner and backend developers to report progress
- Help analyse/profile existing Web UI features and improve upon them
- Strong knowledge and proven experience in C\#
- At least 2 years of commercial development experience with ASP.NET and Blazor
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, ideally Azure DevOps
- Experience with HTML \& CSS
- Experience with Docker
- Keen to learn new technologies
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM subject (CompSci, Maths, Physics, etc.)
- Experience or knowledge of commercial frontend development experience with JavaScript
- Experience or knowledge working with Highcharts JS library
- Experience or knowledge working with Mudblazor package
- Experience or knowledge working with SQL
- Experience or knowledge working with Linux (Ubuntu)
- Experience or knowledge using AWS services (EC2 instances, ECS, ECR)
- Understanding of API frameworks written in .NET
