Social Worker - Referral & Assessment
<p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Liquid Personnel is recruiting Social Worker for its client's Referral & Assessment Team based in Cambridgeshire.</span></p>
<p><strong>What will your responsibilities be?</strong></p>
<ul>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Receive and screen referrals from professionals, families, or the public.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Conduct initial assessments to determine risk levels and service eligibility.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Make decisions on whether cases require further intervention under Section 17 (Child in Need) or Section 47 (Child Protection).</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Undertake home visits and interviews with children and families.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Liaise with police, schools, health services, and other agencies to gather information.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for further action.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Escalate cases to child protection teams when necessary.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
<li><span data-contrast="auto">Maintain accurate records and ensure timely responses to referrals.</span><span data-ccp-props="{"201341983":0,"335559739":0,"335559740":240}"> </span></li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Qualifications & Experience:</strong></p>
<p>To be successful in this role you must have, </p>
<ul>
<li>Social Work England registration</li>
<li>Eligible to work in the UK</li>
<li>Hold a full UK driving licence</li>
<li>Post-qualified experience</li>
<li>Degree level or equivalent in Social Work</li>
</ul>
