Social Worker - MASH (Children's Services)
Are you a confident children's social worker who is calm under pressure at the front door? Pro Social Partners are working in partnership with Achieving for Children to recruit a Social Worker into their Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, covering Kingston and Richmond. This is a permanent role at the very start of the safeguarding journey.
About the team and the role
The MASH is where safeguarding referrals first land, so it is fast moving and needs clear heads. Day to day you will:
- Screen and triage incoming safeguarding referrals
- Gather and analyse information from police, health, education and other partners
- Make timely and defensible threshold decisions
- Make sure children who need help are picked up quickly and safely
Achieving for Children is a social enterprise owned by three councils, so you get public sector stability with a real focus on good practice. Front door and MASH experience is highly transferable and sharpens your assessment and decision making, which opens doors across childrens services. This is a permanent role across two well regarded south west London boroughs, with fast links into central London.

- Registered with Social Work England
- A recognised social work qualification
- Experience in a childrens safeguarding or front door setting
- Salary of £42,771 to £45,750 per year
- £3,000 annual retention payment
- A permanent role across Kingston and Richmond
