SOCIAL MEDIA STRATEGIST
We are seeking a highly creative, culturally aware, and strategically driven Social Media Strategist to shape and elevate the digital presence of our premium fragrance brand. This role is ideal for someone who deeply understands the world of premium and premium branding, social\-first storytelling, and consumer culture, with the ability to transform brand vision into innovative and impactful social concepts that drive engagement, awareness, and growth.
Working closely with the marketing, PR, influencer, creative, and ecommerce teams, you will lead the planning and execution of innovative social campaigns, product launch storytelling, community engagement initiatives, and paid social strategies that enhance visibility and customer acquisition across both UK and international markets.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands how to blend creativity, strategy, and performance to build a modern luxury brand with strong social relevance and long\-term community loyalty.
About the role
As our Social Media Strategist, you will be responsible for developing and leading the overarching social media strategy across all platforms, ensuring every piece of content reflects the sophistication, emotional storytelling, and elevated positioning of the brand. You will combine creative thinking with commercial awareness to create compelling campaigns that connect with modern luxury consumers while building a strong and aspirational online community.
We are not simply looking for someone to manage social channels or post content. We need a strategic thinker and trend\-savvy creative who can conceptualise social\-first campaigns, identify cultural opportunities, and build a scalable digital presence that strengthens brand desirability and drives measurable growth. You should have a strong understanding of premium aesthetics, premium consumer behaviour, influencer culture, and emerging social trends, alongside the ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive social media strategies aligned with company objectives and brand identity. This will mostly start with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok, but will expand over time to other platforms including Pinterest and LinkedIn.
- Manage daily content creation, scheduling, and publishing across all relevant social media channels. This includes managing our in\-house Content Creator, providing clear briefs, creative direction, and feedback to ensure all assets align with our brand identity.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance metrics to optimise campaigns.
- Engage with followers, respond to comments, and foster community interactions in a professional manner.
- Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in social media management and public relations
- Coordinate with our external marketing company or influencers for collaborative campaigns when necessary
- Manage crisis communication on social media channels swiftly and effectively.
- Track KPIs and "reach" metrics, providing monthly reports that prove what’s working and where we need to pivot.
The ideal candidate is passionate about beauty, fragrance, luxury lifestyle, and digital culture, thrives in a fast\-paced environment, and has a natural instinct for identifying what makes premium brands stand out online. You should be confident in developing content pillars, campaign concepts, growth strategies, and social experiences that feel elevated, culturally relevant, and emotionally engaging across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels.
- 3–5 years in social media management, digital marketing, or advertising.
- A bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or journalism is preferable.
- Proven experience in a Social Media Strategist or Content Strategy role, preferably within the beauty, fragrance, fashion, or lifestyle sectors.
- Demonstrated experience developing and executing multi\-platform social media strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, community growth, and customer acquisition.
- Understanding of Google Advertising, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads, and digital growth strategies is highly desirable.
- Ability to analyse social media performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations and future strategy improvements.
- Experience using social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools such as Later, Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Dash Hudson, Google Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns, launches, and content calendars simultaneously.
- Experience collaborating cross\-functionally with creative, PR, influencer, ecommerce, and marketing teams in a fast\-paced environment.
