Social Media Officer

Duties

• Manage daily content creation and scheduling across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, PInterest, Facebook, Youtube, LinkedIn, and others.


• Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and engagement opportunities; respond promptly and professionally.


• Analyse social media metrics to assess campaign performance and identify areas for improvement.


• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency and optimise messaging.


• Coordinate with external partners or influencers to expand reach and foster positive public relations.


• Stay updated on the latest trends in social media management and digital communication tools.


• Assist in organising online campaigns or events that promote organisational initiatives.


• Work alongside senior management to ensure growth is targeted alongside company goals


• Experience


• Proven experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.


• Strong understanding of public relations principles and best practices.


• Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to different audiences.


• Experience using social media management tools such as Metricool, SocialPilot, or similar platforms is desirable.


• Knowledge of analytics tools like Google Analytics or native platform insights to track performance metrics.


• Creative mindset with an eye for visual design and storytelling.
