Social Media Marketing Intern
Funky Cups is Ireland's leading custom\-branded coffee cup company, helping cafés, coffee roasters, delis, hotels, and food brands stand out through creative, high\-quality custom cup designs.
We've supplied over 250 businesses across Ireland and exported to customers in 12\+ countries. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a creative Social Media Marketing Intern who can help us tell our story, showcase our customers, and generate new business through content.
What You'll Do:
You'll take ownership of helping grow Funky Cups' online presence through engaging, consistent content.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and schedule Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok content
- Visit customer locations (where possible) to capture photo and video content
- Create Reels showcasing customer cup designs and café stories
- Design social media graphics using Canva
- Assist with content planning and monthly content calendars
- Monitor engagement and identify opportunities to improve performance
- Research trends, audio, and content formats that perform well
- Support customer case studies and success stories
- Help build relationships with cafés, coffee brands, and influencers
- A clear content system (content pillars, templates, and posting cadence) running consistently
- 20–40 pieces of content published using a repeatable workflow
- Consistent weekly posting across key platforms
- Increased engagement, reach, and follower growth
- Strong visual consistency across all content
You're someone who:
- Lives and breathes Instagram, TikTok, and modern social media trends
- Understands what works today (Reels\-first strategy, storytelling, creator collaborations)
- Can create a premium, modern aesthetic that reflects quality and creativity
- Is proactive, organised, and comfortable working independently
- Enjoys analysing content performance and improving based on data
- Has an interest in branding, coffee culture, food businesses, or entrepreneurship
- Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools
- Photography or videography skills
- Experience running a business, or creator social media account
- Basic understanding of social media analytics
- A portfolio, Instagram page, TikTok account, or examples of content you've created
- Hands\-on experience managing a growing Irish brand
- Freedom to test ideas and make a real impact
- Experience in content creation, branding, and digital marketing
- Portfolio\-building projects and real\-world results
