About the role
Patricia Bright is one of the UK's leading creators in beauty, fashion, lifestyle and business, with an engaged global audience across YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and beyond. We're looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes short\-form content to help plan, shoot, edit and grow Patricia's social presence day to day.
This is a hands\-on, end\-to\-end role. You won't just schedule posts — you'll be on set, in the edit, in the trend trackers and in the comments. If you're the kind of person who notices a TikTok sound at 8am and has a hook drafted by 9am, keep reading.
Responsibilities
Content strategy \& planning
- Build and own a rolling monthly content plan across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts, mapped to Patricia's brand pillars, launches, partnerships and seasonal moments.
- Maintain a clear content calendar with post cadence, formats, hooks, captions, hashtags and CTAs.
- Track performance weekly (views, watch time, saves, shares, CTR, follower growth, affiliate conversions) and adapt the plan based on what's working.
- Shoot short\-form content with Patricia — solo and with guests — including GRWMs, hauls, vlogs, talking\-head pieces, day\-in\-the\-life and product\-led content.
- Confidently operate iPhone and (where relevant) DSLR/mirrorless setups, lighting, gimbals and lavalier mics.
- Direct framing, pacing and B\-roll capture so footage is edit\-ready — no scrambling in post.
- Edit punchy, scroll\-stopping short\-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) in CapCut, Premiere Pro or equivalent.
- Cut for hook, retention and pay\-off; layer in captions, sound design, trending audio, on\-screen text and motion graphics.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity — colour, type, pacing, rhythm — across every clip that goes out.
- Stay one step ahead on platform trends, audio, formats, memes and creator\-economy shifts — and translate them into ideas that feel authentically Patricia.
- Brief Patricia weekly on what's rising, what's saturated and what's worth jumping on.
- Spot trend windows fast — turnaround for trend\-led content is hours, not days.
- Write clear creative briefs for upcoming shoots covering concept, hook, structure, references, props, shot list and CTA.
- Draft first\-pass scripts and hook variations for short\-form videos, talking\-head pieces and brand integrations.
- Collaborate with Patricia to refine her voice on the page so scripts feel natural, never canned.
- Post and manage ShopMy affiliate links across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts on Patricia's behalf — including link\-in\-bio, Stories, captions, pinned comments and Shorts descriptions.
- Build product round\-ups, edits and try\-ons designed to convert, while keeping the content useful and on\-brand.
- Track affiliate performance, surface top earners and feed insights back into the content plan.
- Keep disclosures clean and compliant (ASA, FTC, platform rules) on every affiliate post.
- Own end\-to\-end performance reporting across Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts — reach, views, watch time, retention, engagement rate, saves, shares, follower growth and affiliate revenue.
- Produce a weekly internal performance snapshot and a monthly deep\-dive: what worked, what didn't, what to test next.
- Build clean, branded post\-campaign reports for partners — pulling native analytics, screenshots, audience demographics, sentiment and key learnings into a deliverable ready to send.
- Translate numbers into narrative: turn raw analytics into clear, persuasive stories that help renew, upsell and win new brand partnerships.
- Maintain a benchmarks library (by format, vertical and partner type) so we can price and pitch confidently.
- Own the brand pipeline end\-to\-end: inbound and outbound leads, qualification, pitching, scoping, scheduling and post\-campaign wrap.
- Keep the pipeline tracker accurate and up to date — status, value, decision dates and next actions visible at all times.
- Coordinate with Patricia's manager/agent (where relevant) on rates, deliverables and contractual asks.
- Project\-manage each partnership from brief to delivery: timelines, approvals, usage rights, exclusivity windows and reporting deadlines.
- Build and send branded pitch decks, capability one\-pagers and post\-campaign reports that make brands want to come back.
- Develop and implement social media strategies to grow our community and increase engagement.
- Manage daily social media activities across various platforms.
- Create compelling content that resonates with our audience and promotes financial literacy.
- Monitor social media trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Collaborate with marketing and community teams to align messaging.
- Analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns.
- Foster positive relationships with followers and partners.
- A genuine love for short\-form video — you watch it, study it, and can break down why a clip worked.
- Hands\-on editing chops in CapCut and/or Premiere Pro (Final Cut also fine). Show us your reel.
- Comfortable shooting — phone\-first, with the eye to make it look premium.
- Strong writing instincts: hooks, captions, scripts. You can sound like someone else on the page.
- Fluency in Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts as platforms — algorithms, formats, analytics, what each rewards.
- Familiarity with ShopMy (or LTK / Amazon Influencer / similar) and how creator affiliate funnels actually work.
- Comfortable with analytics and reporting — native platform insights plus tools like Google Sheets/Excel, and ideally Notion, Airtable, Looker Studio or similar. You can turn a spreadsheet into a story.
- Project management instincts — you can run a brand pipeline, hit deadlines and keep partners updated without being chased.
- Highly organised — calendars, asset libraries, naming conventions, version control. You don't lose files.
- Discreet and trustworthy — you'll be posting from Patricia's accounts and handling brand\-sensitive information.
- Based in or around London and able to attend in\-person shoots regularly.
