Social Media Executive
Job Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging social media strategies to enhance brand visibility and foster positive public relations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape our online presence across various platforms, connecting with audiences and promoting our organisation’s values. The successful applicant will possess strong communication skills, a keen eye for current trends, and experience in running social media on various platforms. The brand you will be working with is OrlandoAttractions.com, a leading supplier of theme park tickets and tours for Orlando, Florida. The products we work with are exciting and appeal to a broad range of society and has a large following. The role will also involve designing posts and assisting with newsletters and graphics to use on the main website and social media. In addition to the main role you will be required to undertake some admin / customer service work where required. This includes, but is not limited to, answering calls and emails and processing orders. The role would be ideally suited to a college / university leaver with and interest in the field.
Responsibilities
- Develop, curate, and execute compelling social media content across platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
- Manage daily social media activities including scheduling posts, engaging with followers, and monitoring analytics to optimise performance.
- Collaborate with the team to align social media campaigns with overall branding and promotional strategies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with online communities, influencers, and media outlets to enhance public relations efforts.
- Track industry trends and emerging platforms to ensure our organisation remains innovative and competitive in digital outreach.
- Respond promptly to comments, messages, and reviews in a professional manner that reflects the organisation’s voice.
- Prepare regular reports on social media metrics and campaign effectiveness for review by senior management.
- Produce graphics using platforms such as canva / adobe photoshop to use on social platforms and on website.
- Answer calls and emails from customers providing exceptional levels of customer service.
- Process orders in a efficient and precise manner.
- Experience in social media management or digital marketing roles.
- An understanding of public relations principles and best practices in online communication.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to craft engaging content tailored to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with social media management tools is desirable.
- Ability to analyse data insights and adapt strategies accordingly.
- A proactive approach with organisational skills that ensure deadlines are consistently met.
