Social Media & Digital Marketing Executive

We are looking for a creative, confident and commercially minded Social Media \& Digital Marketing Executive to take ownership of our social media presence and help grow the Newbieandme brand online.
This is a hands\-on role for someone who enjoys creating content, being in front of the camera and engaging with people online. You will manage our key social media channels, develop engaging content and campaigns, build relationships with our online community and use social media and digital marketing to help generate new business.
We are looking for someone who doesn't just post content, but actively looks for opportunities to increase our reach, start conversations and turn engagement into genuine customer relationships.
Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management
Manage and grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.
Plan and maintain a consistent social media content calendar, scheduling posts and ensuring content is published regularly across each platform.
Monitor the performance of our social channels and identify opportunities to improve reach, engagement and follower growth.
Keep up to date with social media trends, platform changes and new content formats, identifying ideas that could work well for Newbieandme.
Content Creation
Create engaging social media content including:
- Reels and short\-form videos
- TikToks
- Stories
- Photography
- Graphics
- Longer\-form YouTube content
- Promotional and educational content
Be comfortable presenting and appearing on camera, becoming one of the faces of Newbieandme's social media content where appropriate.
Work with the wider team to identify interesting stories, products, customer experiences and business activities that can be turned into engaging content.
Digital Marketing
Help develop and implement digital marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness of Newbieandme, reach new audiences and generate enquiries.
Explore different ways of marketing the business digitally, testing new ideas and identifying opportunities for growth.
Support campaigns, promotions, launches and other marketing activity across our digital channels.
Use insights and analytics to understand what content and campaigns are performing well and make recommendations based on the results.
Community Engagement \& New Business
Actively engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages and enquiries in a friendly, professional and timely manner.
Build genuine relationships with existing and potential customers through social media.
Proactively identify relevant conversations, accounts, businesses and potential customers and engage with them appropriately.
Use commenting, messaging, networking and relationship\-building to increase awareness of Newbieandme and create potential new\-business opportunities.
Recognise when a social media conversation could become a genuine sales opportunity and ensure it is followed up appropriately.

- Comfortable experimenting with new ideas and learning from the results
- Able to understand and represent the Newbieandme brand and tone of voice

Continually bringing forward fresh ideas for how Newbieandme can improve its digital presence and reach new audiences.
The Person
This role would suit someone who genuinely enjoys social media and understands that successful social media is about much more than simply publishing posts.
You'll be someone who enjoys creating, experimenting and communicating. You'll be confident enough to get in front of the camera, creative enough to come up with new ideas and commercially aware enough to recognise opportunities to turn online engagement into new business.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who will take ownership of Newbieandme's social media presence and be excited about helping us grow.
Pay: £25,000\.00\-£30,000\.00 per year
