The Role

We are looking for a freelance Content Manager to join the team on a part\-time basis. This is an operational role, not a creative director position. Although creativity and creative thinking is vital. We need someone who takes genuine satisfaction from keeping everything organised, on time, and running smoothly behind the scenes.

Fife\-based candidates are preferred as there will be occasions where you are required to work from our base, but the role is primarily hybrid / remote. We will be locating to an office space at the end of the year so will require 50% office based working. (negotiable).

Key Responsibilities

  • Scheduling and publishing content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube

  • Writing captions that are on\-brand, human, and engaging for a range of service business clients

  • Managing content calendars across multiple client accounts

  • Liaising with clients directly on scheduling, approvals, and day\-to\-day coordination

  • Liaising with our editor to ensure content production stays on schedule and nothing falls through the cracks

  • Coordinating filming schedules and managing the logistics around content production

  • Producing monthly analytics reports and presenting performance insights to clients

  • Contributing ideas and helping to build and improve internal systems as the business grows
What We Are Looking For
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail

  • Fluent across major social media platforms and up to date with current trends

  • Confident writer who can produce captions that sound natural and on\-brand

  • Able to work independently and manage your own time without close supervision

  • Trustworthy and professional when communicating with clients on behalf of the business

  • Proactive attitude, someone who spots issues early and flags them before they become problems

  • Willing to bring ideas to the table and contribute to how the business operates

  • Comfortable working with scheduling tools, cloud storage, and analytical platforms
Experience

Previous experience in social media management, content coordination, or a similar role is essential. Experience working within a marketing agency or managing multiple client accounts simultaneously would be a strong advantage. You will be asked to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of multiple platforms at any interview stage.
