Social Media & Content Lead - London Property & Urban Living
Job Overview
Blue Door Property Guardians is looking for a highly organised, proactive and personable Social Media \& Content Lead to bring our properties, guardians and work to life online. This is a hands\-on, London\-based position. You must be willing to visit properties across London, speak confidently with residents and members of our team, and gather authentic photographs, videos, interviews and stories. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the role, identify content opportunities and use the time available productively.
Job Role
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies tailored to the London property market, ensuring alignment with brand goals and audience interests.
- Create, curate, and manage high\-quality content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging channels to showcase urban living projects and lifestyle stories.
- Manage daily social media activities including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, responding to comments, and fostering community interaction.
- Produce multimedia content such as videos, virtual tours, blog posts, and infographics that highlight property features and urban experiences.
- Build strong relationships with local media outlets, influencers, public relations partners, and community organisations to amplify brand reach and reputation.
- Track performance metrics using analytics tools; analyse data to refine content strategies for maximum impact and audience growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media management to keep our digital presence fresh and innovative.
You will be responsible for planning, creating and coordinating Blue Door’s social media and digital content, including:
- Creating and carrying out an engaging social media and content strategy
- Preparing a clear weekly content plan in advance
- Visiting Blue Door properties across London
- Meeting and speaking with guardians, residents and members of the Blue Door team
- Identifying interesting stories, activities and content opportunities during visits
- Filming and editing short\-form videos, including Reels and TikTok content
- Taking photographs and gathering interviews, testimonials and property stories
- Writing engaging and accurate captions
- Creating content that attracts potential guardians and property\-owner clients
- Managing and regularly updating our Website, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Scheduling approved content consistently across the appropriate platforms
- Monitoring and responding appropriately to comments and messages
- Maintaining Blue Door’s professional online reputation
- Keeping our Squarespace website accurate and up to date
- Adding and removing property information when required
- Developing LinkedIn content aimed at property\-sector decision\-makers
- Helping to redesign and produce our monthly client newsletter
- Monitoring audience growth, reach, engagement and enquiries
- Providing a concise monthly performance report
- Keeping all photographs, videos, drafts and other company content properly organised and accessiblProven experience in social media management within real estate, property development or urban lifestyle sectors.
- Strong understanding of public relations principles to effectively manage brand reputation and media outreach.
- Exceptional storytelling skills with the ability to craft engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
- Excellent communication skills,both written and verbal,and the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Sprout Social) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics and multimedia content production.
- Ability to work proactively in a fast\-paced environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Send a weekly outline in advance showing the proposed work and content
- Confirm which platforms will be used and the intended publication dates
- Arrange property visits proactively with the appropriate team members
- Identify what information, photographs or assistance is needed
- Attend a brief weekly review call
- Raise delays or difficulties promptly rather than allowing work to remain outstanding
- Obtain approval before publishing significant material concerning Blue Door, its clients, properties or guardians
- Maintain a clear record of completed, scheduled and outstanding work
You must be:
- Based in London and able to travel to our properties
- Well organised, efficient, and able to plan work in advance
- Proactive and comfortable taking appropriate initiative
- Friendly, sociable and confident speaking with residents
- Able to make people feel comfortable when being photographed or interviewed
- Creative and able to think outside the box recognising a strong story or content opportunity
- Reliable, responsive abd and an excellent communicator
- Comfortable working independently while remaining accountable
- Able to prioritise effectively and make productive use of limited hours
- A clear and professional communicator
- Confident using social media scheduling, editing and design tools
- Experienced with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn
- Able to film and edit engaging short\-form video
- Careful about accuracy, privacy and consent
Pay: £430\.00 per month
Education:
- Bachelor's (preferred)
- Social Media Marketing: 5 years (preferred)
- 50% (preferred)
