Are you creative, social and always thinking about the next great piece of content?
Coffee Lounge 44 is looking for a Social Media \& Content Creator to join our growing business and take our social media presence to the next level.
This is a hands\-on, in\-person role based at Coffee Lounge 44. We're looking for someone who enjoys being around people, understands social media and can spot content opportunities as they happen.
We don't want someone sitting remotely and simply scheduling posts.
We want you here, in the Lounge, capturing the food, drinks, team, customers, events and atmosphere that make Coffee Lounge 44 what it is.
The hours will therefore be flexible and variable, depending on the content we need to produce. Some weeks may require more hours because we're launching something new, hosting an event or filming a particular campaign, while other weeks may require less.
The Role
As our Social Media \& Content Creator, you'll take responsibility for helping create and maintain the Coffee Lounge 44 social media presence across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
You'll spend a significant amount of your time physically at Coffee Lounge 44, working alongside our team and management to capture content.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Being present at Coffee Lounge 44 to capture regular content
- Planning upcoming content and identifying filming opportunities
- Filming and editing Reels, TikToks and other short\-form video
- Taking high\-quality photographs of our food, drinks, team and venue
- Capturing the atmosphere and personality of the Lounge
- Creating content around new menu items and seasonal specials
- Promoting events, offers and activities
- Creating behind\-the\-scenes content
- Introducing customers to the people behind Coffee Lounge 44
- Creating engaging captions and calls to action
- Managing and publishing content across our social platforms
- Responding to comments and messages where appropriate
- Keeping up with current social media trends and identifying ways we can use them
- Monitoring engagement and using results to improve future content
- Working directly with management to develop campaigns and marketing ideas
- Building a consistent and recognisable Coffee Lounge 44 brand online
Please note: this position cannot be carried out remotely.
The nature of the role requires you to be physically present at Coffee Lounge 44 in Worcester to create content.
You will need to be comfortable coming into the Lounge specifically for filming and content creation and working around the operation of the business.
The schedule will be flexible rather than fixed, with hours arranged around:
- New menu launches
- Food and drink preparation
- Seasonal promotions
- Events
- Special occasions
- Marketing campaigns
- New products or services
- Busy periods and opportunities to capture the atmosphere
- Planned filming sessions
- Last\-minute content opportunities when something worth capturing happens
We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is creative, proactive and genuinely interested in social media.
You'll ideally have:
- Experience creating content for social media
- A strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok
- Confidence filming short\-form video
- Basic video editing skills
- Good photography skills
- A good eye for composition, presentation and branding
- Strong written communication
- The ability to create engaging captions
- An understanding of social media trends
- Confidence working around customers and staff
- The confidence to appear on camera or encourage others to do so
- The ability to work independently and take ownership of ideas
- A proactive attitude and willingness to get involved
