Overview

Captain Fantastic is one of the UK’s leading children’s entertainment companies, creating unforgettable parties, events and experiences for families across the UK.

We are looking for a creative, proactive and organised Social Media \& Content Creator to help grow our online presence and showcase the exciting experiences we deliver every week.

This is a varied and hands on role based both in our Harefield office and out at parties and events capturing real content for social media and marketing campaigns.

Working Hours

• 3 days per week


• 9:00am to 3:00pm


• Occasional Saturdays required for content gathering at parties and events


• Working days can be flexible depending on business needs and event schedules

Responsibilities

• Manage social media accounts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn


• Create engaging:


• Reels


• Stories


• Short form videos


• Photos


• Graphics


• Captions


• Schedule and publish content consistently across platforms


• Attend selected parties and events to capture marketing content


• Record behind the scenes footage and customer experience moments


• Showcase entertainers, parties, seasonal campaigns and company culture


• Promote customer reviews and testimonials across social media


• Support marketing and recruitment campaigns through content creation


• Create SEO focused blog posts and assist with backlink building to improve website visibility and search rankings


• Work with the team to help review the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and social media performance


• Maintain a consistent brand style and tone across all platforms

Skills \& Experience

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience using social media platforms professionally or creatively


• Is confident creating short form video content


• Understands current social media trends


• Is organised, proactive and creative


• Has strong communication skills


• Is happy working both in the office and at live events


• Has experience using Canva, CapCut or similar editing software

A full UK driving licence and access to transport is preferred due to travel involved with content gathering at parties and events.

Additional Information

This is a fun, creative and fast paced role within a growing entertainment company.

A performance based bonus scheme is available linked to overall team performance.
