Social Media Content Creator
About the Role
We're looking for a freelance Social Media Content Creator based in Amsterdam to work closely with a personal brand client. This is a high\-output, trend\-driven role for someone who lives and breathes short\-form content and knows how to translate a person's lifestyle and message into compelling, consistent social media presence.
You'll be the bridge between our client and their audience, understanding what they want to communicate, staying on top of what's performing across platforms, and executing at volume without sacrificing quality.
You will focus entirely on the content strategy, planning, filming, and posting side.
This is a great opportunity for someone earlier in their career looking to grow, performance\-based progression to a content manager role and increased pay is very much on the table.
What You'll Do
- Produce and post approximately 4 pieces of short\-form content per day across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
- Film content on iPhone or with professional equipment in real environments (home, lifestyle, everyday moments)
- Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with the client's message and direction
- Stay ahead of platform trends, sounds, formats, and algorithms and apply them proactively
- Edit short\-form video (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) with fast turnaround, mobile\-first
- Write captions, select audio, add hashtags, and schedule/post content
- Collaborate closely with the client and personal assistant to ensure content stays on\-brand and on\-message
- Track performance and iterate based on what's working
- Based in Amsterdam (in\-person availability required)
- Experience with short\-form content creation is a plus, show us what you've made even if it's personal projects
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts trends and algorithms
- Strong iPhone filming skills, you know how to get great content without a production crew
- Fast, efficient video editor (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, or similar)
- A strategic thinker who can plan content around a person's message, not just aesthetics
- Self\-directed and reliable — 4 posts a day requires serious consistency
- Growth to a content manager role and increased pay based on performance
- English fluency required; Dutch is a plus
- Available to work as a freelance independent contractor
