Social Care Workers – Residential Services

These are long\-term permanent opportunities within established residential services supporting adults with varying support needs, including individuals with complex behaviours and high\-support requirements.
Due to the nature of the services and current staffing demand, we are prioritising candidates with strong availability and flexibility for residential shift work.
What You’ll Be Doing:
As part of the residential care team, you will support adults to live meaningful, independent, and fulfilling lives within their community.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting individuals with daily living and personal care needs
- Working with individuals with complex needs and behaviours that challenge
- Promoting independence, advocacy, dignity, and person\-centred care
- Supporting individuals in achieving goals outlined in their Individual Support Plans
- Assisting with meal preparation, daily routines, and household activities
- Supporting access to healthcare professionals and appointments
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Building positive relationships with families and multidisciplinary teams
- Driving service vehicles as part of community\-based supports
These are residential support roles operating on a 24/7 roster, including:
- Day shifts
- Night shifts
- Weekend work
- Sleepover shifts
Essential Requirements – Please Read Carefully
To be considered, candidates MUST have:
- A Level 7 Degree in Social Care or equivalent qualification
- Current CORU registration as a Social Care Worker
- A full clean MANUAL Irish driving licence
- Eligibility to work in Ireland without sponsorship OR valid work permission already in place
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or challenging behaviours
- Strong understanding of:
- Person\-Centred Planning
- Safeguarding
- Advocacy
- Positive Behaviour Support
- Risk Management
- Residential care experience
- Experience working within disability services
- Strong report writing and IT skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Candidates living along or within commuting distance of the N7 corridor are highly encouraged to apply
