Night Carer – Beckenham, South East London

Hi, my name is Simon. I'm 38 years old and have Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. I'm looking for someone who is calm, caring, and engaging.to join my small care team helping me stay safe and comfortable throughout the night and support me during waking night shifts.I use 24/7 non\-invasive ventilation (NIV) and live at home with my family.

Key responsibilities:

• Personal care


• PEG feeding


• Ventilation (NIV) care


• Suctioning


• Monitoring my wellbeing and responding appropriately during the night

Previous experience in a care setting is desirable, particularly with ventilation or complex care, although full training specific to my individual care needs will be provided so you'll have the support you need to feel confident in the role.

Role details:

• Waking night shifts: 9:00 pm – 7:00 am


• £155 per night


• Holiday pay and sick pay


• Pay every four weeks


• Permanent employed position (not self\-employed)

The ideal candidate must be punctual, reliable, and committed to working their agreed hours. with excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high\-quality, person\-centred care. A willingness to undertake the required training is essential.Employment is subject to an enhanced DBS check and proof of the right to work in the UK.

Pay: £155\.00 per day
