Duties
- Deliver personalized patient care by assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and document all medication\-related activities
- Support clients with meal preparation, ensuring nutritional needs are met and dietary restrictions are followed
- Engage in behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and reduce agitation or distress
- Assist with dementia, Alzheimer's, hospice, and other specialized care needs through compassionate and tailored approaches
- Provide transportation for appointments or errands when required, ensuring safe driving practices and adherence to schedules
- Maintain detailed records of care provided, client progress, and any incidents or concerns to ensure continuity of quality care
- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Hands\-on experience with patient care including medication administration and mobility assistance
- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer's care, hospice support, and senior caregiving best practices
- Familiarity with first aid procedures and emergency response protocols
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting safely and effectively
- Experience with meal preparation, behavior management strategies, and driving for client transportation is advantageous
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients of diverse backgrounds
Pay: £13\.45 per hour
Expected hours: 10\.0 – 30\.0 per week
