SOCIAL CARE WORKER

CHILDRENS SERVICES, KILBRIDE CO. MEATH

PERMANENT FULL\-TIME CONTRACT (39 Hours Per Week)

PERMANENT PART\-TIME CONTRACT (19\.5 Hours Per Week) \& TEMPORARY CONTRACTS

Salary: 41,260\- 57,789\* (lsi)

  • *Salary subject to Relevant Public Sector Experience and pro\-rated for hours of work.*

Essential:

  • QQI Level 7 (or higher) qualification in Social Care/Applied Social Studies or equivalent, the award must be considerer elegible for CORU registration.

  • Up to date CORU registration/confirmation of application for registration submitted to CORU

  • Social work experience in the area of services for people with a disability

  • Full clean manual Irish driving licence and use of a car

  • Proficiency in the English language.
Desirable:
  • Experience working within the area of intellectual Disability

  • Previous experience of working with people who have behaviours of concern

  • Have experience of Person Centred planning

  • Have an awareness of HIQA Standards and regulations

  • Desire to support people live their best lives

  • Willingness to support persons to develop skills and competencies around identified areas of interest and learning.
