The role

This role is to support Kwik Fit in its wider purpose of keeping our customers safe on the road and providing peace of mind motoring.

Reporting to the Senior SMR Business Development Manager, the SMR Business Development Manager will focus on the growth of SMR \& Tyres through both strategic initiatives and through partnerships including the subscription proposition. The SMR Development Manager will support the onboarding of new accounts within the Club proposition, as well as supporting the national sales team in prospecting new routes to market though B2B\-C for the subscription model and overall SMR growth across all channels.

This is a field\-based role to include frequent weekly regional and national travel, including overnight stays as required by the business. The basic salary range is displayed is based upon relevant skills and experience. Performance related bonus (OTE) is in addition to this range plus an excellent benefits package.

Key accountabilities

  • Function as an escalation point for all operational SMR queries; working closely with contacts across operations, the fleet portfolio and the Strategic Account Managers to resolve queries and provide solutions.

  • Support the implementation of Kwik Fit extended; adding value through sharing technical expertise and knowledge of both Kwik Fit and the third\-party network.

  • Provide support and lead in prospecting new and existing B2B and B2B\-C opportunities

  • Support development of subscriptions services, leading improvement and evolution, adapting to markets ensuring the product is fit for purpose

  • Assist the SMR business development team to launch new initiatives and co\-ordinate pilot projects with operational teams.

  • Support Kwik Fit centres, Fleet Senior Maintenance Manager and Duart House team with managing escalations and queries from Fleet customers, Centres and Operations where required.

  • Adhere to Kwik Fit company standards, practices, and standards of customer excellence always, aligning activities with Kwik Fit’s purpose of keeping our customers safe on the road.

  • Assist the Head of SMR Development and Duart House management team with new initiatives and tactical SMR projects, using your knowledge and experience of the industry to contribute to project success.

  • Take on additional responsibilities and ad\-hoc project work to contribute to the development of the wider SMR proposition.

  • Commit to and take ownership of self\-development through training sessions/programs.
Skills \& experience

  • Experience of using Microsoft office, including MS Teams, MS Excel, and MS Word along with other computer literacies.

  • Demonstrates an ability to clearly communicate ideas and concepts verbally to groups of mixed ability.

  • Ability to work well as part of a team and build effective relationships with others.

  • Full UK Drivers Licence Cat B (Mandatory)
