Site Project Manager (Chinese Speaker)
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Site Project Coordinator to support day\-to\-day operations at our project site in London. This role involves overseeing on\-site activities, coordinating with workers and suppliers, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule, and assisting with the smooth running of site operations.
The ideal candidate is organized, attentive, and confident in managing people on\-site. You will work closely with the project lead to monitor progress, report site updates, and help maintain a safe and productive working environment.
This is full time position, with the rate open for discussion depending on experience. It is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands\-on environment and enjoys working directly on site to ensure efficient project execution.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and manage detailed construction schedules, resource plans, and budgets; oversee daily site operations and ensure progress aligns with project timelines.
- Supervise and coordinate site personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers; assign responsibilities and monitor performance to maintain productivity and quality.
- Enforce compliance with CDM Regulations (Construction Design and Management) and all UK HSE (Health and Safety Executive) standards on\-site.
- Ensure all work meets design specifications, technical standards, and client expectations through regular inspections and audits.
- Serve as the primary on\-site contact for clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities; attend site meetings and prepare progress reports.
- Identify potential risks, delays, or design challenges early and implement corrective actions to mitigate impact.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, costs, variations, and correspondence for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Architecture, Interior Design, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is essential for liaising with Chinese\-speaking team members/suppliers.
- 3\-5 years of construction experience, including supervisory roles.
- Must currently be residing in the United Kingdom and able to travel to the site in London daily
- This is an onsite role in London; applicants must be able to work on location Monday to Friday at 8:00am
- Must have valid right\-to\-work status in the UK for self\-employed/contractor work. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role. Applicants currently outside the UK cannot be considered for this onsite position.
- Knowledge in designing and use of basic software such as AutoCAD is preferred but not required.

- Ability to work independently and confidently manage day\-to\-day site matters
- Physically able to work on\-site and perform duties in a construction environment
- Basic understanding of UK construction processes or willingness to learn
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- Good problem\-solving attitude and ability to act quickly when issues arise
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: £2,150\.00\-£4,200\.00 per month
