Reed Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a specialist sports construction project in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Site Manager with strong administration, health & safety and subcontractor management experience to take control of site operations through to practical completion.

The Project

The scheme consists of the construction of five padel courts, with groundwork and canopy installation substantially complete. The project has entered its final phase, including court installation, electrical works, snagging and handover.

The site is based within a live leisure environment, requiring excellent organisation, communication and health & safety management throughout the remaining programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day management of site activities.


• Maintain daily site diaries and photographic records.


• Manage inductions, permits and site registers.


• Monitor RAMS, insurances and subcontractor compliance.


• Chair daily briefings and subcontractor progress meetings.


• Ensure health & safety compliance across all site activities.


• Coordinate multiple specialist subcontractors.


• Manage snagging and handover processes.


• Produce weekly progress reports for senior management.


• Maintain site records, H&S files and project documentation.

• Current SMSTS qualification.


• CSCS Black Card or equivalent.


• First Aid at Work qualification.


• Previous experience managing sites under CDM 2015 regulations.


• Strong health & safety knowledge and compliance management.


• Excellent subcontractor management and coordination skills.


• Strong site administration and record-keeping abilities.


• Full UK Driving Licence.


• Available to start immediately.

• Padel, tennis, MUGA or sports facility construction projects.


• Hotel, leisure or other live operational environments.


• Temporary Works Coordinator certification.


• NEBOSH Construction qualification.


• Experience managing canopy installations and lifting operations.

• £230 - £275 per day
