Site Manager - Primary School (Northwich)

Location: Northwich

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday to Friday

• 6:30am - 10:00am


• 3:00pm - 6:00pm

Contract: Temporary, initially 6 weeks (with potential to be extended)

A friendly and welcoming Primary School in Northwich is seeking a reliable and proactive Site Manager to join their team as soon as possible. This role is to cover a period of long-term sickness absence and is expected to last around 6 weeks, although there is potential for the position to continue beyond this.

Key Responsibilities: • Opening and locking the school premises

• Carrying out routine maintenance and minor repairs


• Ensuring the site is safe, secure, and well-maintained


• Conducting health and safety checks


• Monitoring contractors on site when required


• Supporting the day-to-day operational needs of the school

The Ideal Candidate Will Have: • Previous experience as a Site Manager, Caretaker, Facilities Assistant, or similar

• A practical, hands-on approach to maintenance tasks


• Good knowledge of health and safety procedures


• The ability to work independently and manage their own workload


• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to obtain one
