Position Overview:
The Site Manager is responsible for the day\-to\-day management, coordination, and delivery of planned construction projects and maintenance works across multiple sites. The role ensures that all activities are completed safely and to the required quality standards
The Site Manager acts as the main point of contact on site, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams to ensure successful project delivery from mobilisation through to completion and handover.
The role is predominantly mobile and will involve attending planned project and maintenance works throughout: London and Home counties with main focus around M4 Corridor
Key Responsibilities:
· Manage planned construction, refurbishment, maintenance, and fit\-out projects from start to completion.
· Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the programme of works, specifications, and client requirements.
· Monitor project progress and proactively address delays or site issues.
· Attend pre\-start meetings, progress meetings, and site inspections.
· Ensure full compliance with Health \& Safety legislation, CDM Regulations, company policies, and site\-specific requirements.
· Review and implement Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
· Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
· Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
· Ensure all incidents, accidents, near misses, and hazards are reported and investigated.
· Supervise all site activities and workforce performance.
· Manage site logistics, deliveries, access arrangements, and storage of materials.
· Maintain site records, daily diaries, permits, inspections, and progress reports.
· Coordinate specialist contractors and ensure competence and training requirements are met.
· Act as the primary site contact for clients, consultants, landlords, and other stakeholders.
· Provide regular progress updates and communicate any project risks or variations.
· Maintain professional relationships and ensure customer satisfaction throughout project delivery.
Essential Requirements:
· Valid CSCS Card
· SMSTS
· First Aid at Work
· Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction, refurbishment, maintenance, or facilities projects.
· Competent to use and upload data via Computer and Tablet
· Strong understanding of construction methods and building regulations.
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Good leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
· Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour.
· Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities.
· Full UK Driving License.
· Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
· Flexible approach to travel across the region.
Desirable:
· Temporary Works Coordinator qualification.
· Fire Marshal training.
· Experience working within FM, retail or hospitality sectors.
· Trade qualification in plumbing or maintenance discipline.
· Basic carpentry skills.
· Flooring repair experience.

Salary:
£45K to \- £50K per annum Plus Overtime
Dependent upon experience, qualifications and capability
Overtime and additional earnings available.
