Site Manager
We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join the delivery team on an exciting hotel construction and refurbishment project in Dublin. This is an immediate\-start opportunity with a negotiable package and a strong pipeline of follow\-on work.
The Role
Reporting to the Project Director or Contracts Manager, you will lead the safe, coordinated and timely delivery of the works on site – managing daily operations, subcontractors, logistics, quality and short\-term planning. You will be the central site contact, turning the project team's requirements into clear, controlled site activities.
Key Responsibilities
\- Lead day\-to\-day site operations from mobilisation through to completion and handover
\- Develop and manage short\-term programmes, look\-aheads, labour requirements and sequencing
\- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, deliveries, access, lifting operations and logistics on a constrained Dublin site
\- Lead daily briefings and contribute to coordination, progress and subcontractor meetings
\- Monitor progress, identify risks early and put practical recovery actions in place
\- Ensure works follow current drawings, specifications, method statements and quality standards
\- Manage inspections, snagging, close\-out and defects
\- Maintain daily reports, labour returns, progress photos, delivery records and constraint logs
\- Work with the Site Engineer, design team and services trades to resolve RFIs and interfaces
\- Support the PSCS by enforcing site rules, RAMS, inductions and permits
\- Assist with commissioning, O\&M information, as\-built and BCAR records, and handover
Essential
\- Site management experience on medium\-to\-large building projects – hotel, hospitality, high\-end fit\-out or complex refurbishment experience is highly advantageous
\- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and work fronts while protecting programme and quality
\- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, finishes, services interfaces and site logistics
\- Working knowledge of Irish construction health and safety requirements
\- Able to read and coordinate architectural, structural, fire and M\&E drawings
\- Strong leadership, communication and record\-keeping skills
\- Comfortable with email, spreadsheets, digital drawings and construction\-management platforms
\- Current Safe Pass and legal entitlement to work in Ireland
Desirable
\- Trade, construction management or engineering qualification
\- SMSTS, IOSH, CIF safety\-management training or equivalent
\- First Aid Responder, Manual Handling, temporary works or lifting awareness
\- Experience delivering hotel bedrooms, public areas, commercial kitchens, bars and M\&E commissioning
\- Familiarity with BCAR records, O\&M manuals and digital snagging systems
