Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Site Manager specialising in civil engineering and fit\-out projects. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a proactive leader with strong management skills to contribute to high\-profile construction initiatives. The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating teams, liaising with clients and contractors, and maintaining strict adherence to health and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily site operations for civil engineering and fit\-out projects, ensuring work progresses according to programme and specifications.
- Manage and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure high standards of quality and safety.
- Develop detailed project schedules in ms 365 monitor progress, and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines.
- Coordinate procurement, logistics, and resource allocation to optimise productivity and minimise delays.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, implementing corrective actions when required.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to provide updates on project status and resolve any issues promptly.
- Prepare progress reports, risk assessments, and documentation required for project milestones and audits.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with contractual obligations, specifications, and industry standards.
- Proven management experience within civil engineering or fit\-out sectors, demonstrating strong leadership capabilities.
- Extensive supervising experience on large\-scale construction sites.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar project management software for scheduling and planning.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of health \& safety legislation relevant to construction sites.
- Ability to problem\-solve quickly whilst maintaining a focus on quality standards. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to lead complex projects from inception through completion while fostering a safe working environment.
