Project Experience

The Role

As a Civil Engineer / Site Engineer with Wills Bros, you will support the successful planning, setting out, coordination and delivery of civil engineering works on live infrastructure and construction projects across Ireland.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Setting out works on site using appropriate surveying equipment and ensuring accuracy in line with drawings, specifications and project requirements.

  • Supporting day\-to\-day site engineering activities across civil engineering, infrastructure and construction works.

  • Assisting with project planning, sequencing, coordination and progress monitoring on site.

  • Checking levels, measurements, quality records, as\-built information and technical documentation.

  • Interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and design information to support accurate project delivery.

  • Working closely with Site Agents, Senior Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver works safely and efficiently.

  • Supporting compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards on site.

  • Maintaining accurate site records, daily reports, QA documentation and engineering files.
About You

We are interested in hearing from Civil Engineers, Site Engineers, Junior Engineers and Graduate Engineers who possess:

  • A Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Structural Engineering or a related engineering discipline.

  • Experience in a site\-based engineering role within civil engineering, infrastructure, construction or heavy civils.

  • Experience with setting out, surveying, levels, measurements, drawings, specifications and quality checks.

  • Strong technical knowledge and the ability to interpret engineering drawings and design information.

  • A practical, solutions\-focused approach with strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication, teamwork, organisation and problem\-solving skills.

  • A strong commitment to health and safety, quality, environmental standards and engineering excellence.

  • A full, clean Irish driving licence.
Experience or a strong interest in roads, bridges, structures, drainage, utilities, earthworks, marine works, aviation infrastructure, public works or heavy civils is highly desirable.
