Site Engineer

Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide accurate setting out and engineering support throughout the project delivery.
- Monitor progress, resources, materials, and site conditions, maintaining clear project records.
- Support commercial activities through measurement, valuations, and reporting.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, designers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project coordination.
- Contribute to programme planning, project reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Promote the highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Support the development of trainees and continuously enhance your own technical knowledge and skills.
- A relevant construction or engineering qualification (NVQ Level 4 or equivalent).
- Site engineering experience within construction, civils, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong technical, setting-out, and problem-solving skills.
- Great attention to detail and organisational ability.
- Confidence communicating with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to working safely and collaboratively.
- Knowledge of multiple civils trades and techniques.
- Experience working directly with clients, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Understanding of modern civils methods and technologies.
