Site Engineer (Civil)

Fitzpatrick \& Heavey Homes Limited is a leading residential property developer in Ireland, delivering high\-quality homes across multiple counties. With 650 homes currently under construction, we are expanding rapidly and seeking skilled professionals to join our team.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in the successful delivery of large\-scale residential development, ensuring projects meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Setting Out \& Surveying – Accurately set out works in line with project drawings and specifications, including foundations, utilities, and structural elements.


• Quality Assurance – Conduct regular inspections to ensure works meet required standards, resolving any issues promptly.


• Coordination \& Collaboration – Work closely with the site management team, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain smooth project workflow.


• Compliance \& Safety – Ensure adherence to building regulations, planning requirements, and environmental standards.


• Mentorship \& Support – Provide guidance to junior engineers and site staff as required.

• Minimum of 3\+ years’ experience as a Site Engineer with a main contractor or developer in Ireland.


• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.


• Proficient in Total Station, GPS, and other surveying equipment.


• Strong knowledge of Irish planning and building regulations.


• Ability to work effectively within a fast\-paced, growing organisation.

• Competitive salary (€55,000 – €67,000 DOE).
