Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail\-oriented Site Engineer (Civil) to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all civil engineering aspects of the project are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with design specifications and regulatory standards. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate civil engineering activities on\-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, providing technical guidance to contractors and subcontractors.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Prepare and review technical reports, progress updates, and documentation related to civil works.
- Liaise with architects, clients, suppliers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Assist in resolving technical issues that may arise during construction phases.
- Oversee the utilisation of equipment and materials, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost\-effectiveness.
- Incorporate electrical experience where applicable, particularly in projects involving integrated electrical civil works or infrastructure.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer (Civil), with a strong understanding of construction processes and civil engineering principles.
- Electrical experience is highly desirable to support integrated project requirements.
- Relevant engineering qualification such as a BSc in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and safety regulations thoroughly.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools such as AutoCAD, MS Project, or similar programmes is advantageous.
