Site Engineer

Site EngineerContract until End of 2026 Location: Peterborough An excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Engineer to join a leading infrastructure contractor delivering major civil engineering projects. You'll play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with project specifications.

Key Responsibilities • Manage on-site engineering activities and support project delivery teams.

• Ensure work areas are correctly set out and permits are in place.


• Maintain site surveys, records, diaries, and progress documentation.


• Coordinate with project teams, supervisors, and suppliers to ensure safe working practices.


• Review drawings and raise technical queries with the design team.


• Mentor and support junior engineers.

Requirements • Experience in a site engineering role on infrastructure or civil engineering projects.

• Strong communication and organisational skills.


• Ability to mentor and develop junior team members.


• Civil Engineering qualification (HNC, HND, BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, or equivalent).


• SMSTS and First Aid certification.


• Experience on utility or similar infrastructure projects

An IR35 assessment for tax purposes is required for this engagement.
