Site Civil Engineer

Duties and responsibilities:

· To support and lead the technical aspects of Civil/Site \& Setting Out Engineering, as well as multidisciplinary roles across a range of major engineering projects.

· Reading, analysing, and interpreting architectural and structural plans, drawings, and other technical specifications.

· Ensuring quality control requirements are met in line with client specifications and properly documented.

· Conducting pre\-start site surveys and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental standards at all times.

· Undertaking surveying and setting out duties, including foundations, roads, drainage, and earthworks across various developments.

· Reviewing reports, plans, drawings, and quantities, as well as scheduling materials for procurement.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

· Resolving any unforeseen technical challenges or issues that arise during construction.

· Preparing reports, conducting analyses, and attending training sessions and seminars as required.

Skills/Qualifications/Experience:

· Proficiency in the use of surveying equipment such as Total Stations, GPS, and digital levels.

· A strong understanding of quality control processes and site documentation requirements.

· Sound knowledge of Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards.

· A Relevant Bachelor’s or master’s Degree.

· Knowledge of BIM and digital engineering practices.

· Temporary Works, First Aid, or other relevant site certifications.

· Exposure to a diverse portfolio of major engineering projects.

· Strong communication skills for liaising with multidisciplinary teams including contractors, clients, and regulatory authorities.

· Previous relevant experience.

Pay: £50,000\.00\-£53,000\.00 per year
