SIP / Machine Operative
At Direct SIPs we are actively involved in the manufacture of a diverse range of market leading innovative Residential, commercial \& leisure building products into flat pack kits including Garden Rooms, Offices, Glamping Pods, etc
We are looking for a SIPS Operative who has experience in manufacturing SIP panels, however training will be provided for the right candidate. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated individual with a can do attitude.
Ideally Trades and Labour background Garden room, modular building manufacturing preferred and we would like you to have experience in:
Wood Cutting
Using hand and machine tools
Reading CAD drawings
Clear understanding of deadlines and time management.
Housekeeping within the warehouse and loading areas, maintaining workplace organisation.
Responsibilities:
Manufacturing SIP panels following ISO 9001 process, including accurately recording readings during production.
Read CAD drawings to accurately measure and cut panels.
Load and wrap pallets.
Ensure H \& S policies and procedures including the wearing of PPE when necessary are followed.
Ensure work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times.
Ensure schedule is followed and jobs are completed in a timely manner.
Dispose of waste.
Ensure the correct materials are in stock when required.
Complete Quality Control checks.
Excellent communicator and able to work well with other team members, management and staff.
High attention to detail with a 'Right First Time' attitude.
Ensure all paperwork has been completed daily/per job.
Report directly to your line manager.
Forklift license will be an advantage However training can be provided.
We offer:
Full Time Permanent position \- Monday \- Friday 7\.30am \- 4\.30pm
20 days holiday plus Bank Holidays.
Pension through NEST.

Pay: £10\.85\-£12\.71 per hour
