For our site in \*\*Schkeuditz (close to Leipzig/Saxony)\*\* we are looking for a
Simulator Technician (m/f/d)
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for maintaining and supporting flight simulators and associated systems to ensure safe and efficient training operations. Key duties include:
- Troubleshoot and resolve simulator system issues
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and system checks (pre-/post-flight, QTG runs)
- Record activities in the Maintenance Management System
- Support visual system tasks, hardware upgrades, and refurbishments
- Handle basic logistics, parts management, and testing
- Provide timely customer support and maintain simulator readiness
- Ensure compliance with CAE policies, safety standards, and aviation regulations
- Technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Aviation, with initial professional experience
- EU work authorization and strong English skills, very good German skills would be an advantage
- Basic knowledge of aviation systems, simulation technology, and aircraft terminology
- Ability to read technical documentation and perform troubleshooting using test equipment and software tools
- Understanding of analog/digital principles, IT systems, and operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux)
- Familiarity with MS Office
- Knowledge of aviation regulations (EASA) and Health & Safety standards
- Proactive, motivated team player with strong customer focus
- Able to work independently and in flexible shift schedules (24/7)
