DOOR SUPERVISOR
The Door Supervisor plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both patrons and staff within the venue. This position involves overseeing entry and exit points, monitoring behaviour, and ensuring compliance with licensing laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong surveillance skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to respond effectively to incidents as they arise. The candidate must be able to work with in a team and take instruction from Senior and the Head Door Supervisor.
Key responsibilities and duties include:
- Entry Control \& Screening: Checking IDs, scanning tickets, and conducting bag searches to prevent illegal or prohibited items from entering the venue.
- Safety \& Surveillance: Monitoring crowd behavior, patrolling the premises, and identifying potential hazards or conflict before they escalate.
- Incident Management: Dealing with incidents, controlling disorderly conduct, and removing patrons from the premises if required.
- Venue Security: Working with staff, police, and medical personnel to manage evacuations or emergencies.
- Crowd Management: Managing queues and ensuring safe entry/exit.
- Conflict Management: High\-level communication skills to de\-escalate tensions.
- Compliance: Ensuring adherence to licensing laws, such as preventing underage drinking and managing intoxication levels.
- Customer Service: Acting as the first point of contact for patrons and providing a safe, welcoming environment.
- Physical Fitness: Being physically capable of performing duties like standing for long periods and, if necessary, physical intervention.

SENIOR DOOR SUPERVISOR
The Senior Door Supervisor supports the Head Door Supervisor in managing security teams at venues, ensuring safety, and enforcing policies. Key duties include leading security staff, managing entries, helping in handling complex incidents, reports and to generally enforce standards and procedures. A senior role is key to any large door team assisting the Head Door Supervisor.
- Leadership \& Support: Assisting the head supervisor in managing the security team, assigning positions, and adding input to team briefings. The role is also a key link between the door team and management when the HD is absent.
- Operational Management: Monitoring entrance/exit points, controlling crowds and ensuring compliance with venue policies.
- Incident Handling: Responding to, managing, and reporting serious incidents or emergencies, often liaising with the police and management.
- Safety \& Security: Ensuring the safety of patrons and staff by overseeing searches, checking IDs, and often when operational patrolling the venue with in a response team.
- Reporting: Completing incident reports and maintaining accurate logs
*\*This role can also be titled as Supervisor or Deputy Head Door Supervisor depending on the venue and positions available. The DHD position will carry further responsibility.*

Pay: £13\.68\-£17\.50 per hour
