Summary
We are seeking a Showroom Consultant to join our team in Fitzrovia, London. This role is vital in helping existing and new clients to discover the perfect flooring solutions that align with their design vision. You will be a key ambassador for our brand. Ensuring that all customers receive an exceptional experience, in order to promote our reputation and to maximise sales.
Main Duties:
Showroom
\- Assist all showroom visitors with product selection by providing expert advice and guidance.
\- Monitor showroom performance by tracking the conversion of visitors into sales opportunities and purchases.
\- Respond promptly to consumer web enquiries, directing them to the Design Centre or their local retailer as appropriate.
\- Maintain an immaculate showroom environment in accordance with all Design Centre housekeeping standards.
\- Accurately record and maintain visitor information using company systems.
\- Use company systems to provide customers with accurate information regarding stock availability, orders, and lead times.
\- Build and maintain strong relationships with showroom partners to ensure the company remains their preferred supplier.
\- Identify opportunities to cross\-sell and upsell products where they align with customer requirements.
\- Maintain up\-to\-date knowledge of all products, including new launches and discontinued ranges.
\- Present a professional image at all times, reflecting company values and brand standards.
\- Collaborate with Sales Management to increase showroom traffic and customer engagement.
\- Proactively maintain showroom presentation and merchandising standards, subject to approval processes.
\- Ensuring all sampling is present and up to date
Sales
\- Ensure all customer opportunities, activities, and interactions are recorded and followed up promptly within the CRM system.
\- Generate additional sales opportunities within the allocated customer base through relationship building, cross\-selling, and upselling.
\- Maintain accurate customer records within CRM and business systems to support effective reporting, forecasting, and customer management.
\- Deliver exceptional customer service while consistently representing the company in a professional manner.
\- Prepare and process quotations and sample orders accurately and within agreed timescales.
\- Maintain regular communication with customers to understand their requirements and strengthen long\-term relationships.
\- Provide efficient and effective support to the external Sales team, working collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for customers.
\- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all company products, including new launches, updates, and discontinued lines.
\- Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management.
Training \& Compliance
\- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
\- Complete all mandatory training within the prescribed deadlines.
\- Conduct all duties in a lawful, ethical, and professional manner in accordance with the employment contract and employee handbook.
\- Work with the Line Manager to support ongoing professional development through performance reviews, training plans, and skills development initiatives.
Pay: £40,000\.00 per year
