Shipping and Packaging Assistant

Overview:
We are seeking a detail\-oriented Shipping and Packaging Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customers in our Retail Shop, finding the correct shipping solution for both UK \& International Shipping. Additionally, you will be supporting the professional packaging of fine art and antiques.

Duties:
\- Greeting customers, establishing their needs and offering the best shipping / postal solutions using the range of UK and International Carrier services available.
\- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
\- Assist in resolving any shipping discrepancies, liasing direct with both the customer and carriers.
\- Support professionally packaging Art \& Antiques, keeping own work area clean and organised

Skills:
\- Ability to analyse shipment information for accuracy.
\- Strong communication skills to interact with customers, carriers, and internal teams.
\- Proficiency in data entry to maintain accurate customer \& customs records.
\- Knowledge of phone etiquette when communicating with external parties.
\- Upselling skills to promote additional products or services.

Pay: £12\.71\-£16\.50 per hour
