Could you be our new Shipping Agent?

• Location: Bilbao office.


• Reporting to: Eider Fuldain


• Department / team: Shipping


• Employment Type: Full\-time


• Travel requirements: N/A


• Key Tech/Tools: Microsoft office

• Oversee all port agency operations for vessels calling at Bilbao.


• Coordinate with port authorities, customs, immigration, and other stakeholders.


• Ensure accurate and timely documentation for vessel arrivals, departures, and cargo handling.


• Maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, and local service providers.


• Ensure compliance with Spanish maritime regulations and international standards.


• Manage emergency situations and resolve operational challenges effectively.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Business Administration, Profesional Education related to International Commerce, Shipping or Transportation.


• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping agency operations.


• Technical Skills: Microsoft office / Proficiency in port community systems and shipping software.


• Soft skills: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
