Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth operation throughout.

  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.

  • Manage team members, including assigning tasks, providing training, and supporting professional development.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the kitchen and service.

  • Monitor stock levels, place orders when necessary, and manage inventory efficiently.

  • Handle customer enquiries or complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction at all times.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

  • Assist in training new staff members in service procedures, food handling, and safety protocols.

  • Support the management team in implementing operational policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting.

  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.

  • Experience with food safety standards and regulations.

  • Demonstrable leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

  • Knowledge of food production processes and hospitality best practices.

  • Previous experience working in restaurants, hotels, or similar establishments is highly desirable.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently.

  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with staff and customers alike.

Pay: £13\.35 per hour
