Position:

To effectively manage a production shift (including out of hours delivery queries) ensuring the execution and management of the production plan whilst producing product to the highest standards.

Always reinforcing a safe working environment. Optimising plant performance and ensuring efficiencies are delivered and improved where possible.

Undertake a hands\-on working approach to the management of your shift.

Requirements:

Responsibilities:

• Optimising the plant performance and ensuring efficiencies are delivered and improved where possible.


• Deal with out of hours delivery queries


• Ensure that all Health, safety and environmental rules and systems are adhered to.


• Carry out risk assessments and the identification of hazards to help develop safe operating procedures, this includes training staff in those procedures.


• Carry out analysis, identify root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventative actions.


• Liaise with the Engineering department to ensure that all engineering tasks and PPM requests are actioned.


• Communicate daily with the Production Manager in relation to any changes and identifying any problems and solutions.


• Report production onto system


• Answer any out of hours telephone calls regarding any issues as part of an on\-call rota system.


• All paperwork is completed correctly.
