Directorate: Adult Care, Housing and Public Health Posts 1 and 2: Permanent, part time, working 30 hours per week on our Intermediate Care Units Post 3: Permanent, part time, working 30 hours per week on our Dementai Care Unit Please state clearly on your application form which post(s) you wish to apply for.
The post holders will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of care are delivered in line with the philosophy of the home and complies with organisational policies and procedures in line with the Care Quality Commission Essential Standards of Quality and Safety.

You will be expected to:
- Manage and operate effective deployment of staff on duty in order to maintain standards and meet the needs of service users.
- Provide informal and formal supervisions.
- Ensure that all aspects of care offered on shift to service users is of a high quality and to the required standard, that meets dignity of care principles and shift leaders to take remedial action where necessary, when standards are not met.
- Undertake direct work with service users, carers, other agencies, or personnel to ensure that person centred plans are detailed to meet individual needs, implemented, monitored, and reviewed with all staff involved.
- To maintain health and safety procedures on shift; identify, access, and reduce risks with effective planning and safe management of areas.
- Contribute to the development of a customer focussed service that is responsive and flexible with regard to customer needs.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are adhered to and ensure staff awareness.
You will be required to work additional hours to cover sickness and leave as required.
You will be required to work on a rota system over a 7\-day week which includes, weekends and bank holidays.
