We are seeking a versatile engineer with a strong background in both mechanical and electrical systems to ensure the highest standards of building performance. As a key member of our dedicated on\-site team, you will be instrumental in delivering engineering excellence and ensuring the seamless operation of this flagship property. What This Job Involves
Your primary responsibility will be providing comprehensive, multi\-skilled engineering support, maintaining all mechanical and electrical aspects of the building's infrastructure. You will act as a technical authority on shift, ensuring all building services operate with maximum efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Excellence: Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and respond to reactive tasks efficiently, ensuring all work is logged in the CAFM system. Perform daily plant tours, identify defects, and manage repairs to maintain peak performance.
- Safety \& Compliance: Champion a culture of safety by issuing permits as part of the Safe System of Work and acting as the Duty Authorised Person (Pressure) as required. Ensure all statutory inspections are completed and recorded accurately, adhering to all health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Technical Ownership: Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of sophisticated building systems, including:
+ HVAC systems (AHUs, VAV, CRAC units, cooling towers)
+ Life Safety Systems (fire alarms, VESDA, sprinklers, wet risers)
+ Power systems (HV/LV switchgear, generators, UPS systems, emergency lighting)

- Proven multi\-skilled expertise, with the ability to proficiently manage both mechanical and electrical building systems.
- A formal qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g., C\&G, HNC/HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering).
- Completed a recognized engineering apprenticeship or have substantial experience in a similar Building Services role.
- Experience acting as an Authorised Person (AP), particularly for Pressure Systems, is highly desirable.
- Strong technical competency with Building Management Systems (BMS) from an end\-user perspective.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with colleagues, clients, and residents.
- A proactive, reliable, and solution\-oriented mindset, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with report writing.
