Working directly for this family run local business, you will become part of a friendly workforce working primarily in the Worcestershire region. Attending to domestic and commercial drainage issues. Experience in the construction/drainage industry would be beneficial, however full training will be given. The candidate needs to be happy to complete a variety of changing activities. Sometimes emergency/essential works change a daily plan and you may be asked to change the scope of works during your shift.

Aqua Cleansing Ltd is a respected, long standing company taking pride in customer relations and providing a value for money service. After an initial period, the successful candidate will work Monday to Friday with potential opportunity for On\-call rota responsibilities, responding to emergency work (currently 1 week in every 4 weeks).

*We are looking for an experienced and independent Sewage Engineer/Grounds Worker to join our team and take lead of onsite operations involving drainage installation, sewage systems installation, and general groundworks. You will ensure high\-quality workmanship, safe working practices, and efficient project delivery.*

*The ideal candidate will have good communication, planning \& computer skills as you will need to liaise with the office, customers \& associated parties with regards workloads \& updates on ongoing jobs. Happy to work in a variety of different areas of the business to assist with workloads as required.*

*The job requires a level of physical activity as well as driving. You will be required to complete daily vehicle checks and record driving and work duties. A good level of reward is available to the right person depending on skills and experience. A DBS check will be required. A Class 2 licence (Category C) would be beneficial but not essential.*

Key Responsibilities

  • Install drainage systems, including pipework, manholes, and soakaways

  • Install Sewage treatment plants, pump chambers, and related infrastructure

  • Carry out general groundworks such as excavation, concrete works, and reinstatement

  • Ensure site safety, compliance, and adherence to method statements

  • Operate plant and machinery (where licensed)

  • Liaise with site managers, contractors, and clients where required

  • Maintain accurate daily records and report progress

  • Ensure high standards of workmanship at all times

  • Polite and co\-operative communication with customers via phone and in person

  • Blockage clearance, CCTV, fault finding \& minor dig ups

  • Safe operation of vehicle and equipment

  • Maintaining duty and driving records

  • Carry out Daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

  • Keeping vehicle clean and tidy

  • Maintaining the good reputation of the company

  • Repairs and maintenance to sewage systems/pumps stations etc
Skills \& Experience Required
  • Proven experience in groundworks, drainage installation, and tank installation

  • Strong understanding of site safety and compliance

  • Ability to read and work from site drawings

  • CSCS card would be ideal but not essential

  • CPCS/NPORS for plant machinery (excavator, dumper, roller) – desirable

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Previous experience in drainage industry desirable
